Shadel are now taking bookings for show production for 2008 .

All of the horses that we produced for owners in 2007 qualified for IMHPS Mini HOYS and the
Royal London Show.  Let US take all the hard work out of YOUR showing

If you purchase a horse from us this year and would like to have it shown Shadel are offering a 20% reduction
in production fees for 2008/9. This offer will only apply to a horse purchased during this current year.

Shadel are pleased to announce (after a very long wait !!) the arrival of their new mare Ger Mels Amen.

Thank you so much to Gerald and Bettye Wells for allowing us to purchase this beautiful girl, and we look
forward to showing her next season.

After lots of practice ! Shadel would like to congratulate Nicky Whitwick and 'Sly' ( Shadel Seahorses Secret)
on being placed second in an open miniature horse class at his first attempt

Shadel want to thank the most wonderful mare for yet another top quality baby. Tanzivan Tontika, our foundation mare and herself a National Champion in her youth, dam of 'Shadel Seahorses Secret'.

As well as her son's great result today, she herself qualified for the South Western Veteran's
Championship for 2009. Way to go girl !!'

Having spent two years wandering around enjoying his 'retirement' El Pampero took a quiet trip out
(you can't keep a good man down !)

Result ?? Two wins, 4 x second, Miniature horse Champion and driving pony champion !!

Our September show will again be the venue for the  Spotted Ponies of the South Championship.

Shadel are offering a new trophy for this show. This trophy will be decided on a points basis and will be presented to the spotted pony gaining the most points on show day. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st-6, 2nd-5 ,3rd-4, 4th-3, 5th-2,
and 6th-1, and can be gained in any class entered during the day. All owners of spotted ponies should collect a
points card on arrival. 

This trophy is to be offered in memory of a great little horsewoman, Tamzin Spalding, who sadly passed away
on 19.5.08 aged only 25. For those of you who knew Tamzin there is a memorial website that you can visit in order

Our third foal for this season. After mum had managed to hide it from us until four days before she foaled !  Meet Shadel Seahorses Secret. This colt will be for sale

Congratulations to the Jones-Parry's for the safe arrival of their newest addition.
This colt is by Shadels Cowboy Too and a grandson to our mare Strands of Saffron

Congratulations to the Jerram family on the safe arrival of their new colt.( yet to be named).
He is a Seahorse son out of an El Pampero/ Tontika daughter so great things are expected of him in the future

Congratulations too to Sue Jerram for taking the Supreme  Miniature Championship at Lionhearts show with Total Miracle. Miracle was bred here at Shadel

Shadel were delighted to be asked to take part in the Press Day for the New Forest Show.

We took two fillies, Hermits All That Jazz and Lewingales Sea Briar as examples of the type of Miniature Horses
that will be seen at the show on 24/25/26 July at New Park, Brockenhurst, Hants.
They were a huge hit with all of the photographers and film crews, and we were also interviewed for local radio. 
Pictured is Hermits All That Jazz and Monty the shire. Monty was totally love struck and all
he would do was keep kissing her !'

Congratulations to Fletcher and Spiderman, a.k.a Shadel Shades of Dreamtime on their success at their first show.
'Dreamer' was second in the youngstock class at an' Open' Show and it was Fletcher's first attempt at showing.
Long may it continue !

EL PAMPERO RETIRES FROM THE SHOW RING
 

  Shadel pay tribute to the most wonderful Mini that anyone could wish to own. At the Royal London Show 2006
El Pampero was retired from in-hand competition having notched up 108 wins in his career.
He has been a wonderful ambassador for us and will continue to rule the roost at the stud, where he will be seeking out a new career as a driving horse
